When you drive up to the delightfully unapologetically funky charm of the exterior of Schellville Grille, you're likely to find the parking lot filled with a healthy mix of the dusty working trucks of local farmers and vintners intermixed with the upscale cars of visitors and locals who know a good thing when they find it. In many ways, that mix is indicative of what you'll find inside: an unpretentious country diner with delicious down-home barbecue and big hearty entrees, updated with a Northern California emphasis on great flavor and an uncompromising execution of its fresh ingredients.
This combination is a winner, and not surprisingly has led them to be featured on the nationally syndicated network HGTV. The clean and homey and interior is supplemented by a large outdoor dining area with picnic table seating.
